秋盈土生土長，哀樂中年。自幼嗜書，尤好諸史、老莊、詩詞、小說及傳奇雜劇。少年初識紅氍盛況，至今樂此不疲。2017年與友人創辦文藝團體「小瓦舍」，致力推動從文學及歷史角度觀賞戲曲；並提倡以文本為重心，加強戲曲與現代生活的聯繫。現為國際演藝評論家協會（香港分會）永久會員。
Born and bred in Hong Kong with a passion in history, literature and the theatre, Cecile has been writing about Chinese opera for more than 10 years. In 2017 she co-founded The Little Box Theatre to promote Chinese opera appreciation from historical and literary perspectives, and to build stronger ties between this traditional art form with contemporary life. She is a life member of International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong).
